Massage Your Skin
Massage has loads of health benefits that are hard to ignore. One benefit is that it helps to improve the health of your skin. It will help to improve circulation, which will increase blood flow so your skin will absorb more nutrients. Massage also helps to reduce scarring and stretch marks, so if you have had a baby massaging your skin is a great idea.
Moisturize Your Body
While your face may be your main concern, all your skin needs attention. It is essential to find a really good moisturizer and apply it to your body twice a day too.
Give special attention to areas that are prone to getting dry such as your elbows, knees and heels. You may also want to invest in a high quality hand and nail cream since you are always using your hands and the skin on your hands can get dry and damaged especially when you are doing things like washing dishes.
Use Night Cream
Night creams don’t contain SPF and they are often heavier and more hydrating than day creams. Very often the ingredients in night creams are for anti-aging and these ingredients can irritate your skin and increase your skin’s sensitivity. Since your skins sensitivity can increase when exposed to UV rays. This is why these ingredients are put into night creams and not recommended for during the day.
Using a night cream can greatly improve your skin’s health and help with anti-aging. Just apply a generous layer of night cream every evening before you go to bed and massage it in for best effects.
